Bandar Sunway is a developing township in the Klang Valley conurbation in Selangor, Malaysia. It is situated in the district of Petaling, Selangor. Over the years, Bandar Sunway has matured into a community with plentiful amenities. The township has numerous schools, colleges, a hospital, places of worship, and vibrant commercial areas. A shopping complex, Sunway Pyramid was opened in 1998 and was expanded recently.
Bandar Sunway is well-connected to the cities of Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya and the township of Subang Jaya and Klang via a network of highways, namely the Federal Highway, the Shah Alam Expressway, the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), the New Pantai Expressway (NPE), the North-South Expressway Central Link and the Damansara-Puchong Expressway. Bandar Sunway is also served by an urban-suburb rail link, the KTM Komuter.
Bandar Sunway has also become known as a higher education hub, with two large colleges in the area, namely Monash University, and Sunway University College, and The One Academy, an accomplished art college that won the ADreline awards for 2006. Other schools in Bandar Sunway are SK Bandar Sunway, SMK Bandar Sunway and Sunway International School
Sunway Medical Centre is a private hospital in Bandar Sunway.
Places of worship in Bandar Sunway include Masjid Al-Husna, which is located just opposite Sunway Pyramid and Masjid Al-Amin, which is situated near Masjid Al-Husna.
